The steps below will help you verify your appointments for the day. This report is a fantastic way of double checking your work for the day, ensuring all appointments resulted in a claim and insurance billing, if applicable.

Keep in mind that patient’s with no Insurance policy on file will appear as “N” under the EDI column.

Claims which were printed and sent manually will also show as “N” under the EDI column.

Simply verify that the status is there due to a lack of insurance coverage, or that the claim was printed and sent manually, and not just an oversight.

Step-by-Step

  1. Left Click the Office option menu and choose Reports Manager 
  2. Choose the Appointment category
  3. Double Left Click the Appointment Verification option
  1. Choose Group by Producer
  2. Set the Date range
  3. Choose Sort by Pat Name
  4.  Activate the Check Apt Producer against Trt Producer
  5. Preview, or Print the report using these icons.
  1. Review your report, paying close attention to each producer’s results. Every appointment should result in a treatment posting
  2. If you’re an assignment office, check to ensure the claim has been sent to EDI.
